The Shop

Below you will find examples of pieces available for purchase.  For specific items available to buy, please visit our Etsy shop!

Spatulas

These are amazingly cool spatulas and stirring thingies.  The first two I made belong to Karen, we use them almost exclusively when cooking.  They work great with all our pans and pots and we don't worry about scratching them.  I turn the the handles first, then shape the working end on the bandsaw, and finally do lots of sanding.  I use walnut oil with a beeswax/carnauba finish. Made from maple, cherry, and walnut.

Charcuterie/Cutting Boards

These can be either a charcuterie board or side grain cutting board.  They are made out of hard maple.

End Grain Cutting Boards

Not all cutting boards are created equal, these are wicked good!  My son James and I make end-grain cutting boards where the wood fibers stand upright, think of a handful of straws. Unlike regular cutting boards where the fibers are flat like a pancake, this vertical grain structure makes them super tough, durable, and knife-friendly. Of all the woodworking I do, making these are by far my favorite as I get to spend quality time with James. I've watched James go from, is this good enough, to hold on Dad we need to sand this a bit more.  If you want the best and something that will last a lifetime, buy an end-grain cutting board, you will not regret it

Bowls

All of these bowls are harvested locally.  The Honey Locus and Scrub Oak are from my neighborhood, I helped a friend with a tree and snagged some walnut, took some branches and yard waste to the Provo compost yard, and ended up taking more wood home!  :)

Spoons

These unique spoons are made from beech and coated with a food safe finish for increased durability.

Bookmarks

Bookmarks can be created from maple, cherry, or walnut.  Current variations available at our store.

Vases

These wood turned vases come in all shapes and sizes!  (Random twig not included.)
