My name is Thomas B Sturtevant and I own TreeBeardStudio.  Above is the home I grew up in, on the Presumpscot River in Maine. I spent my childhood on this river and in the Maine woods camping, hunting, and fishing.  I currently live in Utah along the Wasatch front not too far from Sundance.  I enjoy hiking and skiing in the local mountains.

I would call myself a firefighter turned educator with a passion for woodworking and helping individuals and teams reach their full potential.  Concerning my passion for woodworking, I mostly turn things round (bowls, plates, vases, ornament…) on my lathe and occasionally make flat things like end-grain cutting boards.  Concerning helping individuals and teams, I am a Gallup-certified strength coach and love focusing on the use of strengths to achieve amazing results.
